As a timed online format, this sale is slightly different. The auction catalogue is live now, and you can submit your bids until the lots close – the End Time. For this auction, we have set Staggered End Times, with lots finishing 30 seconds apart. So, Lot 1 will close at 18:00:00 exactly; Lot 2 will end at 18:00:30; Lot 3 will end at 18:01:00… and so on.
If bids are submitted within 5 minutes of the End Time of a lot, the End Time is then extended by 5 minutes to allow for counterbids. This means individual lot End Times will change throughout the auction as late bids are entered. Within 5 minutes of the end time, the countdown timer will turn red, and once that hits zero, the bidding on that lot is officially closed.
